Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Present menus and help guests select food and beverages.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure guests are satisfied with their dining experience and address any concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
  • Set up tables according to restaurant standards.
  • Clear and reset tables quickly between guests.
  • Assist in preparing and serving beverages and desserts.
  • Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service.
  • Support colleagues in other areas as needed to maintain smooth operations.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Provide information about Magida Gardens' services, menu items, and events.
  • Uphold Magida Gardens' standards of service excellence at all times.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a waitress or in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
