- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing metal components and parts of heavy-duty machinery used in mining and processing operations.
- This includes but is not limited to crushers, ball mill, slurry pumpsamong others.
- The Welder/Fabricator will ensure that all welding tasks are performed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various welding and fabrication tasks, including Gas cutting, MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, on metals and heavy machinery parts.
- Weld and repair parts of heavy-duty mining and processing machinery such as Crushers, ball mill among others.
- Use equipment such as torches, grinders, and plasma cutters to cut, shape, and prepare metal components.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / FSLC / HND or OND qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
- Should possess strong gas cutting skill.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and metal fabrication.
- Strong ability to weld and repair large machinery and metal structures.
