Simple tips that can help you gain Admission into the University of Ibadan Next year

The University of Ibadan, situated along the UI/Agbowo road, Ibadan is popularly known in Nigeria as the "first and the best '' federal university because of its academic excellence and rigorous admission process. It has a strong reputation in the country's educational landscape. The University has matriculated and graduated several students, both undergraduates and postgraduates since its establishment as a full-fledged university in 1962.

If you have to ask several students looking to get into the university, they might tell you about how they really want to study at the University of Ibadan which is a good idea after all. However, you need to put in the work.

What is the Cut-off mark for the University of Ibadan?

Candidates will always ask this question first because it gives them direction and they can work towards a certain goal. The cut-off mark for the University of Ibadan will vary for each candidate, depending on the course, faculty, and the number of available spaces to accommodate students who have passed very well.

However, if you are writing JAMB next year and you need to know how well you must do to get into the school, just work hard and score way above 220. The University of Ibadan believes so much in excellence and will most likely only admit students who can break the record.

While you are striving to beat the cut-off mark in terms of JAMB, you must also be prepared to do excellently well for the Post JAMB. The cut-off mark for the Post JAMB exam is different for everyone because it is dependent on the course you are willing to study.

How much school fees do I have to pay at the University of Ibadan?

Just the way cutoff marks may differ for each candidate, school fee also varies based on the course a student is studying. A student In the faculty of health sciences may pay more than an art student, and this is how it has always been. However, as of August, the University of Ibadan released the proposed school fees for the students revealing a total of N125,500 for courses without laboratory practicals, N230,000 for courses with laboratory practicals, and N125,500 for courses with digital studio.
