Lead, Brand & Marketing Communication – Airtel Nigeria
Job Description
Responsibilities
Brand Management to improve TOMA, MOUB, Bonding & ITP, and ITR scores for Airtel Brand:
- Development of Airtel Brand Strategy, governing all communications (for master brand and sub-brands) and creative/advertising developments in a manner that will reinforce the key brand benefits and drive consumers to make Airtel their first Choice.
- Ensuring that the Brand guidelines are adhered to on all Brand materials nationwide to ensure consistency across markets, zones, and regions
- Achieving cross-functional cooperation in all brands related activities creating a smooth flow of Brand Information Company-wide thereby ensuring satisfaction scoring by internal and external customers.
- Provide strategic branding support for the implementation of brand assets & properties pan Nigeria and make recommendations on the required branding elements to drive brand saliency. All brand assets must be fully leveraged.
- Provide strategic brand support and make recommendations on brand-building initiatives per region to drive brand performance for Airtel Brand
- Coordinate all outlined Branding projects with the Group HQ & as well as the Nigerian team for timely execution.
Campaign Execution:
- The segment led Campaign development and management and worked with the Head of Media in achieving a 1+3 Message Policy for Airtel Nigeria.
- Accurate and efficient development and management of the brief-to-break process with the agency.
- Ownership and management of Brand creative material development process using approved agencies and third-party suppliers.
- Guide the media manager on the required media support & mix per campaign to optimize campaign performance in line with outlined objectives
- Provide support to the Trade Marketing function through the timely provision of required branding collateral and make a recommendation on POS elements to drive performance in trade
- Collation and proper dissemination of needed campaign product information (both internal and external) to achieve seamless synergy in all Brand related matters.
Brand Performance & Campaign Evaluation:
- Track, report and analyze brand performance monthly; identify gaps and make recommendations as required
- Prepare campaign pre & post-evaluations briefs and deliver the research team as required to ensure identified targets are met per campaign.
Optimization of the Brand and Communications Budget:
- Manage the SCM process end to end to ensure quality standards are met within reasonable cost-production boundaries in an efficient process that does not compromise stipulated timelines
- Reporting and collation of all departmental accruals for the month to ensure timely delivery to finance
- Conduct regular financial reconciliation with the Agency to ensure timely payments due agency) fees and other ancillary payments) are made.
- Finance and SCM information management, e.g. OAFs and POs
- Budget control and management and tracking to ensure budget optimization and no overspend
Agency Management:
- Directly manage the advertising agencies and ensure superlative output and turnaround time on all projects.
- Ensure regulatory compliance on All advertising materials and keep Airtel on the good side of the related regulatory bodies
- Conduct bi-annual agency evaluations and prepare required documentation for cascade to all stakeholders.
Requirements / Qualifications
Educational Requirement:
- A recognized University Degree
- Brand Management & Digital Marketing experience (Not less than 10 years)
- Use of media, brand activation, and digital campaign
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- A Master’s in business administration would be preferred additional qualification dependent on experience.
- Project Management qualification will be an advantage
- Understanding of the rudiments of Brand Management and execution

Invoicing & Payment Processing Analyst – Airtel Nigeria
Job Description
Job Purpose
- To oversee all Vendor Invoice collection & Processing in Oracle, Payment on all Approved and due invoices on Oracle, and Trade services functions of the Account Payables.
Primary Responsibilities
Invoice Collection & Processing:
- Ensure that all Invoices submitted by Vendor are received in line with the approved guideline/Checklist.
- Ensuring that there is a Ph.D. record of all invoices received.
- Ensure that GRN/SRN is done for all received invoices same day.
- Ensure Subsequent booking and initiation of Invoices within 24 hours of GRN/SRN
Accounts Payable Report:
- Ensure that all the Management Information Reports relating to Invoice booking and vendors payments ( i.e. Payment Due Report, Invoice Awaiting Approval, Invoice not Submitted for Approval, Invoice Pending Validation & Strategic Vendors Payments Reports) are produced within the expected timeline.
Validation of Vendor Invoices:
- To ensure that ACE validates all invoices in line with extant SLA
Foreign Payments:
- To plan and coordinate the settlement of all foreign payments through CBN as at when due in the most efficient manner and at the most optimal cost possible.
Vendor Payments:
- Ensure that all due invoices are allocated and processed on a same-day basis once they fall due.
Relationship management:
- To manage the relationship with Internal and external customers as well as relevant regulators such as NCC.
Internal controls and reporting:
- Ensure that all relevant policies in Account Payable are effectively adhered to without failure.

Educational Qualifications and Functional / Technical Skills
- A University Degree i.e. B.Sc / HND in Social Sciences or any numerate discipline.

Relevant Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years post-NYSC experience in a related function in a multinational or foreign operations department/credit administration function in a banking environment
Other Requirements:

- Must have a good understanding of ERP (Oracle, Sage, etc).
- Good Microsoft office skills.

Regional Security Manager – Airtel Nigeria
Job Description
Purpose of the Job
- To effectively handle all security operational activities, liaise and manage relations with government security agencies.
- Interface with Government Regulatory Agencies i.e. LGAS and State Govts, work permit community activities, and contractors to minimize disruptions and ensure continuity of business operations in the region.
- To effectively manage the Security Operations and Administration in the entire Lagos and West Regions (Lagos East, Lagos West, Lagos Central, Lagos North, West, and West Central Zones) of the country, by developing the framework for supervising the various Security Service Providers, and equally coordinating the activities of the Regional Security Specialists in the Region.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prioritizes the allocation of security resources to high-risk, high-impact issues
- Proactive and holistic enhancement of security across the Region.
- Overall responsibility for the Security Infrastructures in the Region.
- Coordinate Security operational activities at the region to ensure the constant presence of guards at Airtel’s locations
- Oversee and supervise site-specific security procedures within the region
- Serves as primary security contact in the Region and ensures adequate planning and provision of resources for appropriate security initiatives

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the Humanities (Legal background will be an added advantage).
- 10 – 12 years post-qualification experience in the various areas of the Security Profession with a specialization in Operations, Intelligence, and Surveillance, among others.
- Possession of a post Graduate Degree will be an added advantage.
- The initiative, business management, and decisiveness skills.
- Previous experience /membership in the Nigerian Police Force or any arm of the Military or State Security Service is highly essential.
- Membership in both the Local and International Security Association is compulsory.
