The amount for apartment rent in Argentina may vary based on what you want, however, $230 is the least you can pay for a bedroom apartment. 

Thailand

Thailand is an Asian country with good weather, culturally good people, and great dishes. According to nomadic Matt who has been visiting the country since 2005, regardless of your budget or interest, the country remains a very good bet for travelers and remote workers. Also, he stated that for : 

  • a mini-budget that includes a dorm room, food from street stalls, a couple of drinks per day, public transport, and cheap activities, you can work with about $25 - $33 per day.

  • a mid-range budget that includes a guest house with Air conditioning, meals from a restaurant, renting a scooter or taking a cheap flight within cities, and more paid activities; an allotment of $40 - $70 will do. 

  • a luxury budget that includes staying in a hotel, eating anywhere, having more drinks, and extravagant tours - $75 - $90

Turkey

Recently, several digital nomads have started to turn to Turkey as a preferred destination because of its affordable cost, beautiful landscape, and budding startup culture. To live in Turkey, you can stay in a studio apartment in: 

  • Istanbul - $386 per month

  • Ankara - $132 per month

Food:

  • Basic lunchtime meal in Istanbul - $6

  • Basic lunchtime meal in Ankara - $5

Transportation: 

  • Istanbul (Cart, Ferry, Buses, Public transport) - $1.3

  • Ankara (Buses) - $2.25

Vietnam

Vietnam is a beautiful and welcoming country that offers premium facilities at a very affordable price. Remote workers have been particularly drawn to this level of luxury they get to enjoy at a low price, therefore, several of them have been visiting more often. The cost of living in Vietnam, including rent, transportation, and eating out falls within the range of $400 - $1500 depending on your spending habits. It is also important to note that accommodations aren't the same as there are guest houses, hotels, mini-hotels, and so on. The difference in these accommodations is the facilities present in each. While some accommodations may be air-conditioned, others may have just a simple standing fan. But, if you are looking to rent an apartment, you can get a bedroom apartment for as low as $400. 

Colombia

Colombia is a country in South America with a rich history of mountains, rainforests, and natural landscapes. It is also an amazing go-to for remote workers looking for a destination that will not cost them too much. According to international living, Colombia is one of the cheapest places to live and enjoy in 2023. The cost of living In Colombia is largely dependent on where you choose to live. However, to live and work remotely in the country, you may find yourself in cities such as Medellin and Bogota. Based on the type of apartment you want, monthly rent payment starts from $500; other amenities include: 

  • Electricity - $15 - $20

  • Trash pickup - $5 - 10

  • Internet - $5 - $20

  • Transportation - $15- $20

  • Food - $ 10 - $15,

  • Clothing - $ 10 - $20

Mexico
